Mobile VR Jam Delights of Hieronymous Bosch– I can’t begin to describe how this will transform how we experience art. You begin flying over an owl through a dark and gloomy town that the artist Hieronymous Bosh resided in. There is a bit of slowdown. You fly with the owl in through the window to Bosch’s apartment, which is beautifully redone and oozes of atmosphere. This is a guided tour so you are unable to control where you go. A giant painting opens up and the narrator brings you through each part of it close up.
I was absolutely captivated by what was going on. I am not one that generally enjoys going to museums, but being there in his apartment with the guided tour of the painting playing was incredible. After the tour of the painting finishes, you are given the freedom to revisit the parts you want to see using the controller, along with the living space and even the outside bazaar (I don’t think this part was intentional).
You owe it to yourself to check this one out. Even if you don’t like art you might just change your mind after experiencing The Delights of Hieronymous Bosch.
