Daily Dose 360 is our pick of the best 360 videos of the day. Mega Daily Dose 360 extends it to the full week. Let’s Take a Vacation, as we are brought to the beautiful Hamilton Islands.
You will need a PC/Phone running Google Chrome Browser, or you can open these videos on the iOS & Android YouTube app. Use WASD or Mouse on PC to interact. On phones, just move your phone around as if you are looking around inside the video. If you have a Google Cardboard or Gear VR (thanks to this recent news), you can view with the headsets which enhance the experience dramatically.

After I finished watching this video which runs close to 7 minutes, I felt like I had just been to Hamilton Islands in Australia. You start out in the airplane as if you are actually traveling there and are shown all the wonders of the island. This has set the bar for 360º tour videos.
I just can’t get enough of these cat and now dog videos. Dryft Digital, the one’s who brought us Beer with a Grizzly Bear, join forces with the San Diego Humane Society and create some heart-warming 360º videos that just make you want to go out and adopt these cute cats and dogs.
Dig Build Live is an animated series using Minecraft as the vessel. This 360º video can best be described as if Pixar did something with Minecraft. It’s that impressive visually and has me truly excited for what is to come from Dig Build Live.
To be completely honest, I’ve never heard of Boursin before. They make cheese among other things. Now their brand image is is solidified inside my mind after taking a 2 minute ride through a refrigerator. I’m sure they took some liberties with including a mini herb garden at the bottom level of the fridge.
Titled “If You Could See All The Asteroids, What Would The Sky Look Like?”, this video is beautiful yet quite frightening, as you begin to realize just how many asteroids are out there. I made the mistake of viewing before sleep. It was a long night.
This is another great piece by Dryft Digital. The Alien Desert takes you to a land that seems familiar yet at the same time strange and mystifying.
I wasn’t going to include this video at first, that was impressive, but only available on YouTube at 1080p resolution, which looks fine on your phone but blurry in VR. Thankfully Vrideo.com had it uploaded at 2k resolution. This is a teaser for a work in progress. You start off looking at a comic book page and then enter the page, gazing upon a world that reminded me of the Matrix.
You stand in a field with a huge alien mothership in the distance. UFOs fly overhead. A neat concept of what is bound to come with all the current 2d UFO videos out there. This one is clearly fake of course.
Save the Children is a humanitarian organization working to help children all over the world in difficult conditions. This video brings you to a school in Nicaragua.
I couldn’t help but to include this wedding video, which alone is a great 360º video of a wedding, but filled with “awe” moments as you watch infants try and get their groove on the dance floor.
Don’t let the innocent looking picture fool you. A music group performs in a cafe while a really creeping looking ghost girl watches from outside the window. You need to look behind and you will clearly see what I’m talking about. The music’s not all that bad actually.
