Well, we are almost hitting 100 videos across all the major video hosting services, so I’m sure within the next week or two we can hit our goal of having enough quality content to bring normal daily dose 360s every day. Since we didn’t want to make a post about just 1 or 2 videos, we bring you this week’s Mega Daily Dose 360. North Korea awaits in an amazing 360 degree video. We’ll keep the rest a surprise as you scroll down, but we promise there’s some fantastic stuff this week.
In Daily Dose 360, we look at the best 360° videos of the day from across the internet. Be sure to follow us on Twitter@dailydose360 for updates throughout the day of the best 360 videos right as they hit the internet!
You will need a PC/Phone running Google Chrome Browser, or you can open these videos on the iOS & Android YouTube app. Use WASD or Mouse on PC to interact. On phones, just move your phone around as if you are looking around inside the video. If you have a Google Cardboard or Gear VR (thanks to this recent news), you can view with the headsets which enhance the experience dramatically.

I’m no stranger to Running of the Bulls videos in 360°. I’ve seen the two up on Samsung’s Milk VR video app, but they can’t even lift a finger to this insane ground level footage posted on Vrideo Sunday. Warning, as this is not for people with weak stomachs. I saw participants getting trampled by other people and bulls. I can only hope they are alright, but I’ve never seen a video before portray so accurately the brutality of this event.
Men and women everywhere admire Jennifer Lawrence. This is her appearance on Conan O’Brien 360, and our only complaint is the camera should be closer. Much closer. But then again you get to be within a few feet of her, virtually. Who can complain?
VR Pill just loves all these dance videos, especially when they are well done. This video will pleasantly surprise you in many, many ways. Be sure to look all around.
I imagine a lot of you have seen that VICE video that goes behind the lines in North Korea, giving us a glimpse of a place where every little thing is carefully planned. Well, now’s our chance to catch something as we bring you a new YouTube video that takes you into North Korea, armed with a 360 video camera. Perhaps if you look in the right places you can catch something they didn’t want you to see.
I’m not making this up. That’s the actual title of the video. It’s just an all around feel good video and I’m surprised it’s not at millions of views already given the love of Idol groups in Japan. I’ll have to admit, I kept this in as I was surprised at how decent the quality was of 1080p60. Perhaps it was the camera they used? I’ll need to look at 1080p60 videos in a different light now. Also, good luck getting this song out of your head.
This one I can personally relate to, as I was watching the parade from downtown Wall Street. See all the toilet paper? People were throwing even more of it and other paper from the buildings further downtown. It was like it was snowing. Funny enough, the sanitation trucks in the parade got the most applause. You might want to turn the volume down a bit before watching as the screaming is quite hard on the ears. Can you spot the VR Pill?
There are quite a bit of travel videos out there already, but there’s something about the way this one is filmed that puts me in some kind of meditative trance while watching it. At the 1:15 mark, you will find yourself at a restaurant that is up really high. They say don’t look down, but I say “look down!”.
Lots of cursing and standard YouTube Let’s Play fare in this video, but what’s really impressive is how they use the 360° to let you turn to see different player’s perspectives. This could influence a lot of other Let’s Plays being like this for standard 2d games.
